There are thousands of people who still doesn't know the signs and symptoms of Diabetes and its so important for us to be well educated regarding this matter, thats why I want to share what I just read and hopefully you guys can learn something.
Signs and Symptoms of Diabetes
1. Age, ethnicity, being oeverweight, lack of physical activitiy and family history all pay a role in the development of diabetes.
2. Find out if anyone in your family has or has a history of diabetes. Even with a family history, you can often prevent this disease with lifestyle changes.
3. The symptoms of diabetes may begin gradually and are often difficult to indentify. Some of the signs of diabetes are:
- feeling thirsty most of the time.
- frequent urination and having to urinate during the night.
- feeling very hungry or tired.
- weight loss or gain, without trying.
- sores that heal slowly.
- dry, itchy skin.
- tingling or loss of feeling in your feet.
- blurred vision.
4. If you are pregnant, gestational diabetes is also risk to your health. Non-diabetec pregnant women should be checked for diabetes between 24th and 28 of week of pregnancy, unless they are in a low risk category. Low risk includes women who have no family history of diabetes, are of normal weight adn are younger than 25 years of age.
