Drapery Fabric It Is!

My bestfriend’s birthday is only a week ago and I am still fighting with my decision whether to buy her a few rolls of drapery fabric at FabricOnTheNet.net or the dress that I found the other day. I know the dress will look good at her but the fabric will make more sense since she loves sewing children’s clothing and accessories. In fact, she mentioned it to me yesterday about the printed zebra fabric that she wanted to buy for her clothing diaper. She is planning to open an online store but wanted to store a lot of item first before doing so in case the customer will order more. I think the fabric is a good choice as my birthday present because I love all the drapery fabric that I found online and I am dying to see my friend’s reaction when she receives it!

Baby Jeannie

This little cutie in the picture is eating frosting! it may look like she's eating chocolate but it wasn't lol! She is only 6 months old but you can already tell how much she loves to eat sweets. Anyway, the original pictures looks messier than what I posted here. I edited her picture using photoshop and lightroom. I know I keep mentioning it in my previous posting that I am in the process of learning how to edit picture using the pse and lr software. This is a sample of my work and I am still working on it so excuse my mistake hehehehe.

Best Selection of Ukuleles

Back in my college days, I always like to play musical instrument, specifically the piano but when I started taking music classes, I ended up learning how to play the string guitar instead. I don’t know why but guitar seems more fun for me to play than piano. I can take it with me whenever I go and play anywhere I want without any hassle like the piano or the keyboard does. Believe it or not I own four guitars and two ukuleles. My grandfather who used to play ukuleles passed it to me and since then I played my ukuleles all the time. I like how cute and fun they are especially if you are really good at it.
Ukuleles might seem easy and small to look at but in the music world it plays a great role! One thing I like about this fun small four string guitar is that, it is highly portable and relatively inexpensive. My son is already learning to play one of my ukuleles, I was amazed how good his hearing is when it comes to the variety of sound and resonance of the instrument.
I am pleased to see my son being interested in musical instrument than video games or any other gadgets that most kids are playing nowadays. Jason is already looking and searching for the Best Selection of Ukuleles to get one on my son’s upcoming birthday. However, I found this nice ukulele online and I am falling in love with it. I like the print and the shape of this ukulele. What do you think? Should I get it or not? I have less than two months to decide so any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Hours of Practice!

Since hubby bought the DSLR camera for me, I have been buying software where I can edit pictures. So far, I have two photoshop software and bought lightroom recently. The picture above is the first photo that I edited using the lightroom software. I am loving all the software I got, though they are very time consuming. It's fun to play and bring the picture into another level. I still have alot of things to learn in my three software, I know it will take long for me to be able to understand all these but I will not give up and keep doing what I love to do!

Unsecured Small Business Loans

In the world where money is involved, it is a thriving business yet you could still notice some lending companies that tend to give unsecured small business loans to SME’s. Although there’s a big risk in do so but this kind is a calculated risk that perhaps it could mean a bigger profit when this investment make through and become profitable in the end. It is a sort of a win-win situation to both sides if it materialized and could be a big headache it if won’t. It is for this reason that trusting your gut seems not a good or ideal way in making decisions in this matter.

When Difficulties Strikes

My widowed friend for 7 years is having difficulties paying her bills recently because of her being sick all the time and has to go to the doctor at least once a month. All her savings are gone and she’s having a hard time coping up with her bills. If it wasn’t because of the title loans Texas I don’t know how she can make it. I felt bad for her and thankful to the loan company who let her loan the money she needed to pay off her bills. I tried to help her too but because we also have our own monthly responsibility, I cannot guarantee to help her all the time. Anyway, so far all her bills are paid off for this month, I hope she won’t get sick again so she can save up for her upcoming bills.

Addicted To Movies!

Jason and I are both addicted to movies, believe it or not my husband and I can spend all day long watching movies! There are times; we drove to town twice to rent 9 or more movies. In fact, we spend about 100 dollars a month just for movies and that is the main reason why we decided to get netflix and hbo to lessen the money we spent. However once in a while we purchase movies online because there are movies that we really like to watch and it’s not available in netflix and hbo. So far, we are very satisfied and happy, we enjoyed watching movies in our home without spending too much!

Keeping Up With Teenagers

Contributed by Milford Woods

Some days I don’t know what to do to make my teenagers happy. They are generally good kids, but can be so demanding! The youngest is 13 years old, and she wants me to drive her all over the place. She wants to meet her friends at the movies, and go to her friends’ houses all the time. Then there is my son who is 16 years old. He makes it hard for me to keep his sister happy since he wants to borrow my car all the time. I told him I would get him a car if he gets a a part-time job after school, but he hasn’t acted on it yet. I decided I would just get Direct.tv and ask them to stay home more often, because keeping up with them is getting more and more difficult for me by the day. Now they are only allowed to go out on Friday and Saturday nights. The other nights they have to stay home and have family time. They aren’t too happy with me, but I didn’t know what else to do

Valentines day is only 2 weeks ago and believe me or not, I am soooo ready for that special occasion for me and for my husband. I already got him a nice present and I am hoping he'll like what I got for him. I cannot believed how time flies so quick and here we are again celebrating valentines day again! How about you guys are you ready yet?

Successful Operation

My sister in-law has been suffering migraines for as long as I can remember. She used to live with us before she got married to her second husband and every time migraine strikes her, I felt bad for her because I can see it in her face how painful it was and I wish there is something I can do to lessen the pain. I am so thankful and happy that she under go Migraine plastic surgery and getting rid of the pain once and for all. It’s been 3 months now since the surgery and the only thing I can hear from her since the surgery is praising the surgeon. It was a very successful operation because now she is totally free from pain and enjoying her marriage life with her husband.

Yo Yos Are Fun!

I remember when I was a child, my sister and I like to play yo yos and because we love to play it so much, we made a lot of yo yos out in a pop can! At that time real yoyos that they are selling in the store is quite hard to buy because there are so many of us in the family and my parents’ income is enough for our food only. But even though our yoyo is out of can, we still enjoy it every much!
My son has several yoyos given by his grandparents last Christmas and I am so happy to see how he enjoyed the yoyos like how enjoyed mine when I was a kid. He is only 3 years old but he sure can play yoyos well! What a smart little guy!

His favorite drink

This homemade strawberry milk shake is my son's favorite, just for this week, I made it twice already, he loves it so much that has to drink to glass. I'm so glad that my son is liking what mommy is making for him. I don't mind cooking, baking or making all kinds of milk shake as long as he likes them all and not wasting anything. it snowing outside yet we have this cold drink in our home:-)

I am so happy to finally have this latex mattress in our bedroom. Now I don’t have to worry about back pains and sore necks. Just few night of sleeping this latex mattress, my back feels so much better! I love how comfy the bed is and the softness is just amazing! It’s perfect for my tiny body. My purpose really to have a bed like this is for my husband’s comfort because he had a back surgery 18 years ago and he needs a bed that will help him sleep comfortably and this latex mattress has all that features that he needs.
Anyway, if you guys had the same problem with your current mattresses, why not check out the attached link above and get one for yourself! Maybe this is what you need to ease your body's soreness!

High School Sons

Guest post from: Constance Rodgers

With three sons in high school, all of whom will be heading off to college within the next three years, my husband and I are in serious money saving mode. We’ve done a pretty good job of saving up until this point, and each boy has his own college fund, but we’re not naïve enough to think we won’t have a ton of unexpected expenses pop up. In order to save as much money as possible, we clip coupons, shop on the sale rack, and even looked into how to save money on our utilities. This is obviously not an area many people think about, but it can yield a huge cost savings. We started turning our heat down and invested a little in insulation, which helped. The big savings have come from finding a new natural gas provider, though. I had no idea how much money we were wasting on our energy bills every month. We called Shop electricity rates TEXAS and were able to switch to a new provider, and we started saving a lot of money instantly. It was one of the easiest ways I’ve ever found to save money. I wish I’d have done it sooner, actually. Those college funds would be a lot bigger by now!
