Watta great sunday!

We got home late last night because of my friend son's birthday. We went to their place which is 2 hours drive from where we live and spent almost 4 hours celebrating the birthday party. we had lots of fun and of course so full! i'm happy to see them after long time without seeing each other, her and me had the same month of delivery, she had a baby girl and i had a boy..my baby is lot bigger and heavier than her baby, but its normal though because girls usually that way. anway, we decided to stay at home today. i cook beef barbecue outside on the stick with vegetables on it and then make salad with watermelon hhmmm so yummy! my husband loves my cook, he said im his most favorite cook! hahahaha. of course because im his wife..we're done eating and both us are full as well the baby because i nurse him after i ate..his sleeping right now as well as his daddy..:-)

Happy Weeken!

I receive a call last night from my close friend Love and invited me for his son tomorrow's birthday. Sad to know I can attend the birthday celebration because mu inlaws will come over to spend time with us in our town's fair, we will be going there together and probably stay there for the whole day. oh well, i prefer to stya with them too because they will move out soon in two weeks and we cant do this oppurtunity anymore unless we visit them or us..i hope you guys will enjoy your weekend..God bless us all and have a great day.

I had cavities:-(

I’m glad we are done with our teeth cleaning yesterday. Ugh! I really hate teeth cleaning especially the drilling and scraping! It feels so annoying..but anway I am happy of having a chance to maintain my teeth clean here unlike in the place where I live before. We don’t go to the dentist unless something is really bad happen in our teeth like swollen or rotten and take note, sometimes we went to a non license doctor to make it more cheaper which is of course “illegal” J . I am not done though with my teeth problem, I still have to back on Monday to fix my 2 cavities in both side of my tooth. Before I came here in US, I have 6 teeth filling in my front teeth to close the gap, unfortunately the dentist didn’t do a good job, the filling is too rough that makes my gums bleedL so they have to fix that too on Monday and it will be two hours! Hayyy life..

Last week my in-laws visited us here and brought their old car truck to give it to us. In two weeks they will move out down south and they don’t want to bring that truck and decided to just left it here and give it to my husband. Thanks to my in-law for their kindness. Now we need to buy some auto parts because that truck has been stuck in the garage for a long time and hasn’t been use for quite a while the reason why its not running well. It’s the middle of the week again! Can you believe it? Time flies really fast..few days from now we will start counting another set of the month. Anyway, today is not a busy day for me, I folds the clothes yesterday and vacuum the floor so right now all my vacant time is for my baby and hereJ . oh boy, I’m done packing my two boxes of balik bayan box but still I run out of space lol! I have lots of things to send in my family but mostly clothes. I want to send some other basic necessities too but I don’t have enough space for that already. I really hope and pray that all these things will arrive safely because then it’s a big lost for me since I pay all these from my own pocket! Anyway, I need to go now my baby is doing something stinky!

Water Restoration

We are supposed to spend time with our in-laws today but because of the unexpected disaster, our plan change. The main pipe in our water system broke, my husband accidentally hit the pipe while breaking the woods using his axe. The water is flowing really hard like a shower and my husband tried to fix it but still water is coming out. Good thing, my sister in-law came in and called water restoration 911 and fixed the pipe. Now our drive way is so muddy and hopefully it will dry out soon because then we’re stuck having a muddy wheels in our car.

Busy Day!

Just got from the hospital oh boy it was really hot outside, good thing I wear sleeveless that helps my body too keep cool a little bit. I was hapoy with our check up results, my baby is doing pretty good. He weights 13.9 lbs and 26 inches long at the age of 2 months old. They checked my bottom too and everything went well. My baby is really tough, they poked him twice but he only cried a little bit. I am so thankful that God gave me such a healthy baby

Life has been so busy here! I have been taking care of my little boy for 24 hours but im loving it! its amazing how to grow up so quickl..I love my baby so dearly and of course my husband:-) its quite chilly today, i went outside to water my plants and its chilly out there! I'm happy that my plants outside started to produce beautiful flowers. I had roses and and tulips and hoping to plants more this year.Anyway, I need to get going now I still have to eat my breakfast real fast before my baby's mood change. I leave him in our bed and playing with himself, I just hope he won't cry and get tired.

It's kind of late here but me and my baby just woke up we both sleep good and just sleep all the way hehehehehe and its really funny because when i went to the bathroom to od my daily routine, he also did his daily routine you know what i mean? deposeting in his diaper hehehehehehe. so right after i clean myself i clean him too, silly baby! anyway, his done with his breakfast so its time for me to make mine..i still have some fresh bitter melon so i'll guess i'll have to cook that now..see you later guys..and have a great day!

He is the sweetest thing...

I was surprised when hubby got home yesterday, he brought me some flowers which makes me really happy and special. I asked him what's the occasion for buying me a flower and he said, " I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE SO SPECIAL TO ME" what a romantic person he is! he is indeed the most sweetest thing that I ever had in my life, because of him my life is so meaningful and I cannot imagine living without him and my baby, they are everything to me and cannot live without them. I am so blessed and thnkful for having a husband like him. God is so wonderful..THANK YOU LORD..

Big Storm!

Story about never giving up!!!

There is a story many years ago of an elementary teacher. Her name was Mrs. Thompson. She stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, and told the children a lie. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard. Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he didn't play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. And Teddy could be unpleasant. It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big "F" at the top of his papers. At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last. However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise.
Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners...he is a joy to be around."
His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle."
His third grade teacher wrote, "His mother's death has been hard on him. He tries to do his best but his father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken."
Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and sometimes sleeps in class."
By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's. His present which was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag. Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one quarter full of perfume. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to." After the children left she cried for at least an hour. Tips for today "top 6 causes of hair loss"

It is common for men to lose their hair with age, and sometimes this process begins as early as the teenage years. Some men just accept it, while others seek treatment. When women develop thinning hair or baldness, it is often a source of great concern and anxiety for them. Androgenetic alopecia is a common cause of hair loss, but there are many others to consider, too.

1. Normal variation. A hair's natural cycle is for it to grow for several years, then fall out and be replaced. This means that at any given time, some hairs are always in the process of falling out while others are starting to grow in. Thus, it is completely normal to notice hair coming out with combing, brushing, shampooing, toweling or otherwise rubbing the scalp.
Sometimes this natural hair loss may temporarily exceed new growth, which may cause undue alarm about possible baldness. One of the first questions I ask patients concerned about hair loss is whether their hair is truly getting thinner, or are they just noticing more normal shedding than usual. The latter situation may not require any treatment at all.
2. Hormonal abnormalities. A variety of hormonal problems are known to contribute to hair loss. Too much or too little thyroid hormone is a common cause of generalized thinning or loss of scalp hair. This is usually easily diagnosed with a simple blood test. Elevated testosterone tends to cause loss of scalp hair and promote growth of facial and body hair. High levels of insulin, often found in people with diabetes, can also cause hair loss. In women with polycystic ovary syndrome, there are elevations of both testosterone and insulin.
3. Scalp inflammation. Several inflammatory skin conditions, such as eczema, seborrhea, and psoriasis, cause patches of hair loss with red and scaly skin underneath. Fungal scalp infections (also called ringworm) and bacterial infections of the hair roots (folliculitis) can also cause similar problems. Patches of hair loss without underlying redness may be due to an autoimmune condition called alopecia areata.
4. Local trauma. Tight hairbands or cornrows can cause thinning simply by breaking off the hairs at their base. Some chemical hair treatments damage the follicles or the hair itself. Insects that attack the hair (like lice or scabies) can cause hair loss either by directly breaking the hair or by causing the person to scratch, which in turn damages the hair. Trichotillomania is a psychological condition in which people compulsively pull out or twirl their hair around a finger, sometimes without even realizing they are doing it, resulting in areas of broken-off hairs.
5. Medications. Several medications can contribute to hair loss. Steroids and chemotherapy are among the most common culprits. Some diuretics (like sprinolactone) cause thinning of the hair by increasing levels of testosterone. If your hair loss seems to correspond to when you started a new medicine (or increased the dose), it's worth checking with your doctor about a possible connection.
6. Psychologic factors. Stress, anxiety, and depression are surprisingly common causes of thinning scalp hair, and can be especially difficult to recognize and treat. Many people don't realize how much stress or anxiety they are actually experiencing, and so will tend to minimize their level of stress when considering possible causes of hair loss. The anxiety is then compounded by the hair loss itself, so the problem becomes even worse. Some people develop an escalating cycle of anxiety, worsening thinning of the hair, and increasing worry about hair loss.
Once you have noticed that you are losing your hair, the first step is to get a medical evaluation to determine the cause. Either your primary care physician (family practitioner, internist, pediatrician, or gynecologist) or a dermatologist is a good place to start. Treatment can then be directed to any of the above underlying causes that are present.
If such treatment is not sufficient, or if no identifiable cause can be identified, there are currently two medications that you might consider. Minoxidil (Rogaine®) is a topical treatment available over the counter. Its exact mechanism of action is not clearly understood but it can be safely used by both men and women. Finasteride (Propecia®), an oral medicine available only by prescription, works by preventing testosterone from transforming into its most active form, thereby reducing one of the major factors in male pattern baldness. Finasteride is not approved for use by women or children.
Both minoxidil and finasteride seem to be better at maintaining one's current hair and reducing future loss than they are at regrowing new hair, but these meds may produce some new hair. Typically, these medications need to be used for 3 to 6 months before much benefit is seen, and, unfortunately, any improvement in hair growth will only last as long as the medicine is continued. If it is stopped, the hair loss tends to recur.
Many cosmetic approaches are also available. Wigs, hair transplants, hair weaves, and similar treatments can all hide an embarrassing or frustrating problem. If you're not too fixated on growing your own natural hair, these can be easier and sometimes even less expensive in the long run than chronic use of medications.
